NFL Network is in Richmond this morning for coverage of Redskins training camp. Ian Rapoport provided some insight into Trent Williams holdout. There have been multiple reports since Williams skipped mandatory mini-camp on June 4th. There were rumors that Trent wanted a trade and had vowed to not play for the team again(DeAngelo Hall disputed this Jason LaCanfora report). Rumors that he wanted a new deal. Rumors that he had an issue with the team's medical staff, and how they handled the growth on his scalp that had to be removed.
Rapoport says the team told Williams to wait until after the season to have the growth removed.
