With Kirk Cousins becoming a free agent again this offseason, the Washington Redskins are left with a choice. They can either franchise tag Cousins for a third consecutive year, a hefty $34.5 million price tag, throw the transition tag on him, a lesser value but he negotiate elsewhere, sign him to a long-term deal, or let him walk. None of the options seem to be overwhelmingly appealing, though having a fallback plan if he does walk is necessary to suffer the blow.
Well, if Cousins does hit the open market, the Cleveland Browns will likely have a high level of interest in him.
