LANDOVER, Md. -- Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan and running back Keith Marshall will undergo MRIs Saturday after exiting Friday’s preseason win with injuries.
Kerrigan injured his groin in the first quarter of a 21-16 win over Buffalo and did not return. Kerrigan wasn’t going to play in the preseason finale this Thursday, so he’ll have a chance to recover in time for the Sept. 12 season opener versus Pittsburgh.
Marshall is in a difficult spot. Unlike Kerrigan, he’s fighting for a roster spot and there are concerns over his durability.
