LANDOVER, Md. -- Five observations about the Washington Redskins' defense after the 27-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday:
The Redskins were intent on stopping the run and, for the most part, did a very good job in limiting Dallas to 102 yards on 30 carries (one run for more than 10 yards). Some of that can be credited to guys like Ziggy Hood and Cullen Jenkins along the line; both impacted a handful of plays with their penetration. But this was a group effort.
