The Washington Redskins have seen plenty of promising bids from their receivers this preseason, and outside of the starting trio of Terry McLaurin, Paul Richardson, and Trey Quinn, nothing is truly set in stone.
At various points in preseason, Darvin Kidsy, Robert Davis, Cam Sims, and Steven Sims Jr. all made plays to suggest that they’d be worth spending a roster spot on. Steven Sims Jr. was the most recent riser, and it appears the Redskins were keen enough on his performance as a special teamer to award him a roster spot.
Sims’ ascension was warranted in some respects, as his value as a returner is something not many can match.
