The Washington Redskins have been hit hard with injuries at the tight end position. First reserve Logan Paulsen, the starter Niles Paul fractured his ankle against the Cleveland Browns in the first preseason game and both Paulsen and Paul have been lost for the season.
Jordan Reed has been slowed with a hamstring injury and remaining tight ends on the roster are very inexperienced. I pondered as to whether the Redskins would make a trade for a tight end but now it seems they’ll also be looking for free agents.
CBS Sports Jason LaCanfora reports that the Redskins will be working out tight ends today including former Green Bay Packer 2011 fifth round pick D.
