Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Redskins brought in free agent RB Travaris Cadet for a workout on Monday, as they do some due diligence on available players.
New Orleans was reportedly shopping Cadet around for a potential trade this offseason, but no deal surfaced.
Cadet, 28, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Appalachian State back in 2012. He spent three years in New Orleans before he was allowed to test the open market in 2015.
The Patriots elected to sign Cadet to a two-year contract worth $1.
