The Washington Redskins entered the offseason wanting -- and needing -- to fix their defensive line. Thus far, they swapped out Chris Baker and Ricky Jean Francois for Stacy McGee and Terrell McClain, while also re-signing Ziggy Hood.
But their work isn’t finished, nor should it be. Here are the remaining options for improvement up front:
In house: The Redskins have eight defensive linemen under contract, but only three have real playing experience in the past two seasons. A fourth, Phil Taylor, is a wild card after missing the past two years in part because of knee issues.
