As the Redskins offseason continued on Wednesday, the team made their second major trade with an AFC West team this spring. While it won’t compare to the Alex Smith trade, the team still did move a former second round pick who was a strong performer as a rookie.
The player moved was Su’a Cravens. The safety/linebacker hybrid sat out the 2017 season after a strange saga where he one day just elected to retire. This dragged on for a month before his season was essentially declared to be over.
On Wednesday, the Redskins traded Cravens to the Broncos for draft considerations.
