The Washington Redskins announced Friday that they’ve waived WR Kendal Thompson from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
Thompson, 25, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in May of last year. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.
He was, unfortunatelly, waived at the start of the season and later signed to the team’s practice squad.
Washington elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract this past January before waiving him with an injury settlement this week.
