Redskins waive injured safety Trenton Robinson; DeSean Jackson listed as probable

The Washington Redskins will waive safety Trenton Robinson with an injury designation, Redskins Coach Jay Gruden announced on Saturday. Robinson will likely be placed on injured reserve if he clears waivers.

Gruden said Robinson re-tweaked his hamstring during Thursday’s practice. He hasn’t been on the field for the team’s final two practices leading up to a Monday night contest against the Dallas Cowboys.

“It’s probably going to be some time before he gets better,” Gruden said.

Robinson started seven games this season until he was demoted in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. In that game, Robinson initially suffered the hamstring injury and has missed the last two games against the Carolina Panthers and New York Giants.
