The Washington Redskins announced Friday night that they’ve activated S DeAngelo Hall from the PUP list and placed OL Orlando Franklin on waivers.
Franklin, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Broncos. He finished playing out his four-year rookie contract with Denver and signed a five-year, $36.5 million contract that included $20 million guaranteed with the Chargers back in 2015.
Franklin was set to make a base salary of $6 million for the 2017 season when the Chargers designated him as a post June-1 release. The Saints signed him to a contract back in July but released him a week later.
