We’re at the point in the season where contending teams are really starting to figure out who the contributors are on their roster. The Redskins appear to be at this point now. They are making roster moves every week to improve the overall configuration of their 53-man squad, and they have had a few surprises from those moves.
On Tuesday, the team made a couple of roster moves that were somewhat surprising. First, opted to waive Joshua Holsey right when it seemed that the corner was ready to return to action. Holsey hadn’t played all season, but it was still an opportune time for them to give him a chance to prove himself by working as a depth player.
