If the Washington Redskins lose, they’ll still have the lead in the division. But with a win, the Redskins can truly take hold of the wheel, and step into the drivers’ seat.
Accomplishing such a feat will be far from easy; the Saints’ offense is a high-powered unit, headed by a quarterback you may have heard of: Drew Brees. Even with speedster Ted Ginn out, Brees has no shortage of weapons; Mark Ingram, this week, rejoins a cast with players such as Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, Cameron Meredith, and Benjamin Watson.
Even the emergent, young Redskins defense will have a tough time in this one, but while the spectacle of Drew Brees claiming the NFL career passing yardage title has drowned out any respect in Washington’s corner, one must not count the Redskins out.
