Now it’s official. Unless you’re one of those “preseason isn’t football” kinds of people. If you are, you’re not wrong. But this is the closest we’ve come to real football in six months. We’ll take what we can get. The Washington Redskins, however, must know their limits in their first preseason matchup.
After last year’s catastrophic injury debacle, health will be a priority in preseason for Washington. In a time of year where meaningless injuries can take their toll, the Redskins need to get out healthy if they want to have a shot at competing.
That said, there are many players on Washington’s roster who won’t have the luxury of relaxation over the next four weeks.
