Back in August coming into training camp, Brice McCain was the assumed slot CB for the Dolphins. He quickly found himself in a battle with Jamar Taylor for the starting job opposite Brent Grimes. After McCain was signed away from the Steelers in March, Dolphins HC Joe Philbin was clear that McCain was viewed as a slot CB.
