The Washington Redskins offensive line has been the subject of scrutiny all throughout the offseason. They drafted Brandon Scherff with the fifth pick of the draft in order to begin to address this issues on the line and they moved him from tackle to guard.
They’ve moved Morgan Moses into the starting lineup at right tackle with Scherff starting next to him at right guard. While the Redskins right side is young, we’ve already seen the New England Patriots starting two rookies on their O-line and get positive results.
Yes, it’s the Patriots but the point making is that it’s possible to start young players on the offensive line and have it not be a disaster.
