The Washington Redskins have rejected offers for disgruntled left tackle Trent Williams, and that reportedly includes a first-round pick.
The New England Patriots were willing to offer the Redskins their 2020 first-rounder, The Team 980’s Kevin Sheehan reported. The Redskins, according to Sheehan, told the defending Super Bowl champions the compensation wasn’t enough.
Williams remains committed to his holdout and has reportedly told friends he no longer wishes to play for the Redskins. Washington, however, has told teams it is not interested in trading Williams, per ESPN.
