ASHBURN, Va., -- The difference was striking as the Washington Redskins have turned a once-sterile locker room into, well, a playground. Two players battled in ping pong at one end; two others went at it in foosball on the other. More players took turns on the shuffleboard table.
Gone are the days of a sterile locker room where the lockers were white and the paint was gray. Now? There are new dark lockers with the Redskins logo at the top; a burgundy carpet with the Redskins logo in the middle -- it’s roped off so no one steps on it.
