Redskins Training Camp Profile: CB Adonis Alexander

A year ago today, the Washington Redskins made some noise during one of the points of the NFL offseason that is usually quiet. In the 2018 NFL Supplemental Draft, the Redskins elected to select Virginia Tech cornerback Adonis Alexander.

The team was already rich with young talent at corner, but they elected to bring him on board because of his upside and connections to a member of the Redskins coaching staff. And after all, he was a bargain in the sixth round, so it seemed like a great value at the time.

After being drafted, Alexander was a shoo-in to make the roster, and he ultimately forced Orlando Scandrick to be cut.
