INDIANAPOLIS — The Washington Redskins will meet with LSU’s Joe Burrow and Alabama’s Tua Tagovalioa, two of the top quarterbacks in this year’s class, as they prepare for the NFL draft in April.
Redskins coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday he had already talked with Tagovailoa and plans to bring the quarterback in for a formal interview. He then added Washington also plans to visit with Burrow, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.
The Redskins hold the No. 2 pick in this year’s draft and despite having 2019 first-rounder Dwayne Haskins on the roster, Rivera said nothing is off the table in terms of possibilities at the position.
