The Redskins have one really glaring weakness on their roster and it’s right smack-dab in the middle of the offense. Between the undersized Kory Lichtensteiger and the out-of-position, surprised-he’s-remained-on-the-roster-this-long Josh LeRibeus, the Center position has been a major problem for the Redskins offense for quite some time now.
Listen, I’m sure Kory is a great, smart player who can snap the ball well and make some line calls and blah, blah, blah… That’s the kind of stuff fans tell themselves when they’re trying to rationalize his starting spot over the football.
The fact of the matter is, he’s getting older (yes, I realize everyone is getting older, but he’s on the wrong side of 30 now), is too light, and makes way too much money for his level of production.
