The Washington Redskins continued to add more depth to the roster and signed former Denver Broncos strong safety David Bruton.
Bruton, 28, was an unrestricted free agent after playing seven seasons with the Broncos. He recorded a career-high 43 tackles in 13 games last season, along with seven pass deflections, two interceptions and one sack.
The Redskins are still trying to figure out the safety position. Washington released veteran free safety Dashon Goldson to save $8 million in cap space before free agency began and retained strong safety Duke Ihenacho, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent.
