The Washington Redskins continued to stabilize their secondary by signing a three-year deal with former Broncos safety David Bruton, the team announced Tuesday.
A league source told ESPN's John Keim the deal is worth $9 million with $1.5 million in incentives.
Bruton, a fourth-round pick in the 2009 draft, has been one of the longest tenured Broncos. He has been the team's special teams captain in each of the last three seasons, including two Broncos teams that advanced to the Super Bowl.
Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips also found a place in the defense for Bruton in 2015 as Bruton's 482 snaps on defense 43.
