Marley, 5-8 and 200 pounds, had been given a tryout at rookie minicamp, which was held at the Redskins facilities in Ashburn over the weekend.

Marley was a first-team All-American Athletic Conference player in 2016 at Tulane when he led the team in total tackles with 88. He was a four-year starter for the Green Wave and amassed 319 tackles (200 solo), 50.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, six basses defensed and four interceptions.

Marley’s father, Rohan Marley, played at linebacker Miami (Florida) alongside Dwayne Johnson, Warren Sapp and Ray Lewis and in the Canadian Football League.
