Redskins Sign Nick Moody In Wake Of Inside Linebacker Injuries

On Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Washington Redskins suffered a couple of key injuries. Middle linebackers Su’a Cravens (elbow) and Will Compton (knee) both went down and were declared week-to-week by head coach Jay Gruden following the contest. On Tuesday, the Redskins made a move to add a new linebacker and signed Nick Moody off the free agent market.

Moody is a fourth year player and a former sixth round pick out of Florida State. He has played 23 games in parts of three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks.
