So far, the Ron Rivera regime has been highlighted by the Redskins largely eschewing bigger free-agent names and just adding depth to compete for roles on the roster. They did make a big run at Amari Cooper, but once that fell through, they have focused mostly on adding players that could compete for key positions with the team on low-risk deals.
That continued on Wednesday afternoon when the team signed offensive lineman Jeremy Vujnovich.
According to multiple reports, the Redskins have agreed to a deal with the veteran blocker. A former undrafted free agent out of Louisiana College, Vujnovich stands 6-foot-5, 300 pounds and figures to battle for a backup guard role with the Redskins.
