Former Pittsburgh Steelers free agent inside linebacker Terence Garvin has tweeted that he’s signed a contract with the Washington Redskins. Garvin had visited the Redskins last week and apparently they have agreed to a deal with the linebacker.
Garvin signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia in 2013 and became one of their top special teams players. The Redskins are making a point this offseason of upgrading the special teams.
They recently signed former Denver Broncos special teams captain David Bruton and have now added Terence Garvin.
