The latest set of roster moves, which was announced Thursday afternoon, sees the Redskins finally saying goodbye to Fullback Elijah Wellman, who had, against all odds, stuck around on the Jay Gruden practice squad and 90-man roster for over a year.
The newest Redskin is outside linebacker Garrett Sickels, who was active for Sean McVay’s LA Rams at the end of 2017, but waived injured a year ago. Sickels was undrafted out of Penn State in 2017, and spent time on the practice squads of both the Colts and Browns before getting signed by the Rams in mid-October of the ‘17 season.
