We’re at the point in the offseason when NFL teams can begin to start signing players to reserve/future contracts.
Once the regular season ends, players can agree to deals with players that were on their practice squad or were not on NFL rosters to close the season. These deals, known as “reserve/future contracts”, are basically holdovers until the new league year begins in March. The players can sign now and will occupy a spot on the 90-man roster at that time.
And the Redskins added five of these players to their roster on Monday. They are as follows:
