The Washington Redskins have signed seven-year veteran Ziggy Hood. Hood has 164 career tackles with 12.5 sacks and seven passes defensed.
The Washington Redskins are adding a veteran defensive end with Super Bowl experience, as the team announced on Wednesday the signing of seven-year veteran Ziggy Hood to a Reserve/Future contract.

Hood, a 2009 first-round pick out of Missouri, spent his first five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was then a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars during the 2014 and 2015 seasons while also appearing in a pair of games for the Chicago Bears late last year.
