The Washington Redskins have come to an agreement on a one-year contract with former San Diego Charger DL Kendall Reyes. Reyes (26, 6’4″, 300 lbs.) has a previous connection with Redskin DC Joe Barry from back when he was the LB Coach in SD.
Reyes is a prototypical 3-4 DE who can play both the 3 and 5 techniques. He’s been a starter in SD for the past three years. While not a Pro Bowl caliber player, Reyes can be a solid contributor in a DL rotation.
He had 2 sacks and 1 INT last year and is still only 26 years old.
