The fourth preseason game isn’t one that is going to see a lot of action from the top players on the Redskins team. After three weeks of preparation, the fourth preseason game is usually reserved for the players on the back end of the roster to see some time and duke it out for positions on the practice squad. It appears that the Redskins will be utilizing that strategy this season, and they made a roster move to back that up.
On Sunday, it was announced that the team would be signing quarterback Connor Jessop to the 53-man roster, per the team’s official site.
