The Washington Redskins made it seem like there might be a chance at the end of the game, but their efforts were ultimately too little too late against Matt Ladfleur’s Green Bay Packers, and they were defeated at Lambeau Field, by a score of 20-15.
The final score of the game was close, within one possession, but in reality, the Packers were in control for all four quarters. Aaron Rodgers wasn’t his spectacular self, but he still managed to produce enough to give the Packers a healthy cushion for most of the outing.
On defense, the Redskins did their best to stop Rodgers, and they actually did a nice job generating pressure, with four total sacks on the day, spread evenly amongst Matt Ioannidis, Daron Payne, Ryan Kerrigan, and Ryan Anderson.
