Redskins say play-calling system working 'smoothly'

ASHBURN, Va. -- Some pregame notes and analysis for Sunday's game between the Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills:

  1. Former Redskin Bacarri Rambo has done a solid job in Buffalo; he will miss some tackles and give up some plays but he’s also made some plays. He has intercepted one pass, forced two fumbles and recovered one. But he’s definitely better than he was in Washington, which drafted him in 2013. One of his former teammates said Rambo might have played too soon, so his flaws were exposed in a bigger way and patience wore thin with his development.
