ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins saw what they needed to from receiver DeSean Jackson this week. And they’re hoping it translates into a big game Sunday.
After missing six games, Jackson returned last week vs. New England, but only managed three catches for 15 yards and did not show the same downfield burst.
Jackson had been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Redskins coach Jay Gruden said he was "very encouraged" by what he saw from Jackson in practice.
"When you have a chance to put back-to-back-to-back practices together after being out so long, it just makes him stronger," Gruden said.
