ASHBURN — Redskins safety Montae Nicholson is cooperating with local authorities after the death of a 21-year-old woman in Loundon County. The 23-year-old safety was not at practice Thursday.
According to TMZ Sports, an unconscious and unresponsive woman was brought to the emergency room Thursday morning around 1:30 a.m. and was pronounced dead, believed to be from a drug overdose.
The woman was brought to the E.R. by two males, one of whom was Nicholson, but they immediately left the area.
Nicholson is expected to speak with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and has not been charged with a crime.
