When the Washington Redskins traded for Ha Ha Clinton-Dix earlier in the 2018 season, it was originally thought that Washington would continue to rotate Montae Nicholson into the safety groupings, due to his speed and length.
However, the Redskins sapped almost all of his defensive snaps from the game, and per J.P. Finlay of CBS Mid-Atlantic, the reasoning for Nicholson’s snap decrease was largely contingent on health issues, rather than character issues.
But earlier today, it was revealed that Nicholson had apparently failed to execute discipline off the field. In a recent incident he was arrested and charged with assault and battery, as well as public drunkenness.
