Last November, Washington Redskins cornerback Chris Culliver tore his ACL and put the start of his 2016 campaign in question. However, recent comments seem to point towards Culliver being ready to go when Week 1 of the 2016 season rolls around.
When speaking on Wednesday, Redskins GM Scot McCloughan had some words on Culliver’s recovery, stating that he was “ahead of schedule” after undergoing knee surgery towards the end of the season.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Culliver will be back with Washington in 2016.
Rumors began swirling last week that the Redskins may opt to move on from Culliver.
