The Washington Redskins lost RB Silas Redd to a season ending knee injury early in the preseason but they are still blessed with quality depth at running back regardless. Alfred Morris is still the top guy and the Redskins have gotten him more involved in the passing game this preseason.
Rookie Matt Jones continues to be impressive. Against the Baltimore Ravens last week he made an instant impact on the ground game as the Ravens defense had stifled it before he came in. Jones hits the hole hard and is a load to bring down.
It will be interesting to see how the Redskins divvy up the carries and alternate the plays between Morris and Jones.
