The Redskins announced that they have activated DL Stacy McGee from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform(PUP) list. He had offseason groin surgery and did not participate in any team activities this year. McGee returned to practice on October 17th, and had until tomorrow to be activated or shut down for the season.
Jay Gruden has said the Redskins lineman would be active soon two weeks ago. Washington released veteran DL Ziggy Hood the day before McGee returned to practice. The youth movement on the DL meant the Redskins didn't need to rush McGee back, but he is active now and will enter the rotation.
