The Washington Redskins 2019 NFL Draft class was graded very highly across the nation, with some dubbing the class the best of the NFL. It’s a testament to the work of college scouting director Kyle Smith and his team, but the work isn’t done yet. They’ve added the talented prospects. Now they need to make it work.
Making it work is easier said than done, and it takes a very long time; much longer than one training camp session. But we can gauge the progress that’s been made thus far, and determine whether players are progressing at the adequate pace, or whether there’s more to be done.
