ASHBURN, Va. -- The difference was noticeable early for Washington Redskins rookie Preston Smith. He entered the NFL as a second-round pick, a prominent rookie.
“You’re coming from being a star on the team in college to working your way back up and now it’s a team full of stars,” Smith said. “Sometimes you get discouraged or your mind may wander or you may feel down sometimes.”
