The Washington Redskins aren’t one of the teams still waiting to gain entrance onto the biggest stage in the National Football League. They’ve made it there four times, and won the Super Bowl three times. While teams like the Lions and Bengals yearn for their pass to historical relevance, the Redskins have already attained it.
But perhaps that only makes the Redskins current state of affairs worse. The dichotomy between the Redskins of old and the Redskins of 2019 is stark, to say the least. In one era, the franchise won three Super Bowls over the course of a decade.
