There were times this past year where the Washington Redskins appeared to be evolving. The offseason, normally kindling for the Redskins’ rumor mill, was strangely quiet, and Washington had just completed the second consecutive competent draft season. Things were looking up.
Now, however, the old Redskins seem to have emerged once again. Over the past few weeks, public relations disaster after public relations disaster has rendered the team back into a laughingstock. Several front office executives left amidst mounting friction, and now, Bruce Allen and Dan Snyder are left unopposed in the front office.
