The Washington Redskins have resisted trading left tackle Trent Williams as the left tackle continues his holdout, telling opposing teams they will not be dealing the seven-time Pro Bowler, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
Further, three teams — including the New England Patriots — are actively pursuing Williams, according to NBC Sports Washington.
If Williams is moved, Schefter said on The Team 980 on Tuesday that he thinks a first-round and a sixth-round pick could probably get a deal done. He also added while the Redskins aren’t open to trading Williams now, they could always change their minds in the future.
