Last offseason, the Washington Redskins spent big money for safety Landon Collins. They made the former New York Giants starter the highest-paid player at the position and he helped to lock down the strong safety spot for the team. He recorded 117 tackles, four pass defenses, two forced fumbles, and a sack while mostly living up to his deal de.
This offseason, it appears that the Redskins are interested in finding a running mate for Collins. And they may look to do that on the safety market.
According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the Redskins are among three teams that former Cleveland Browns safety Damarious Randall would “most likely entertain joining” in free agency.
