The Washington Redskins made the decision to select Dwayne Haskins with the 15th pick in last year’s NFL Draft in hopes that he would develop into a franchise quarterback. After an up and down first season, Haskins is facing a lot of pressure to prove himself as his second NFL season approaches.
So far during the 2020 offseason, the Redskins have only made a minor move at quarterback. They traded a fifth-round pick to the Carolina Panthers to get Kyle Allen, a passer with experience in Scott Turner‘s offense, to both challenge Haskins and provide a solid, cheap backup for the squad.
