The Washington Redskins released their first unofficial depth chart of the summer this past weekend.
While the depth isn’t official, it does give us an idea of where certain players stand at this point.
The first thing that sticks out to me is that Matt Jones–a rookie running back from Florida–is listed as the back up running back behind Alfred Morris. They clearly like what they’ve seen from him this summer.
Running back Chris Thompson on the other hand is listed third, even though it seems as though he might be the front-runner for the Skins’ third-down back job.
