In a move that we may have seen coming, the Washington Redskins have parted ways with veteran free safety Dashon Goldson. The 31 year old safety was expected to bring some playmaking ability and veteran leadership to a Redskins secondary that has struggled for a long time now.
Unfortunately, Goldson was not able to make the impact that the Redskins needed at the position and now must let him walk. Releasing Goldson seems to be like more of a positive than a negative.
